Burlington, Vermont – April 4, 2011
This weekend is the Vermont State Scholastic Chess Championship. School children from kindergarten through Grade 12 are eligible to compete and all abilities are welcome.
David Ro, who is last year's High School Chess Champion, appeared on The :30 to teach us a few chess moves. Tournament Director Mike Stridsberg joined him to talk about the tournament.
Last year 150 kids competed in the event.
