DFA Backs Sanders and Welch

South Burlington, Vermont - February 13, 2006

Bernie Sanders and Peter Welch received an endorsement from an organization founded by former Vermont Governor and U.S. presidential candidate Howard Dean.

At a press conference, Democracy for America announced it would be supporting both Sanders and Welch in their run for higher office.

Democracy for America will be contributing money and volunteers for both campaigns. They will try to solicit supporters through the Internet.
