
Kristin Kelly joined WCAX in June 2005 as co-anchor of the Channel 3 News at 6:00, the Channel News at 10:00 which airs on WCAXtra, and the Channel 3 News at 11:00.
Before returning to Vermont, Kristin was a General Assignment reporter for New England Cable News (NECN) in Boston. Starting in 2002, Kristin covered major stories in the Boston market - from the clergy sex abuse scandal and the Democratic National Convention, to the Red Sox historic World Series run. She also reported from Houston as the Patriots won Superbowl 38.
From 1996 to 2002, Kristin held several positions at Channel 3 News: Business reporter, Morning Anchor and Statehouse reporter. Her reporting won AP awards for enterprise and investigative stories. Kristin won a regional Edward R Murrow Award for her series of reports on female heroin addicts in Vermont's prisons.
Kristin received her BA degree from Barnard College and a MA in Journalism from New York University.
