No new information from police Friday on the investigation into the murder of Michelle Gardner-Quinn.
Yesterday the Associated Press reported a link between prime suspect Brian Rooney and Gardner-Quinn. The AP said that Rooney's lawyer admitted her blood was found on his client's pants.
We tried to confirm this, but neither police nor prosecutors would comment.
Meanwhile a memorial service for Gardner-Quinn in her hometown in Virginia was scheduled with Vermonters in mind. It is takes place next Saturday, October 28th. Also, Michelle's family has set up an environmental scholarship in her name.
