Another bat habitat in Vermont is infected with a disease that is killing thousands of bats here and in New York.
It's called White Nose Syndrome-- named for the white circle of fungus around the noses of affected bats. It was first discovered last year in eastern New York. 11,000 bats died.
Now, a second outbreak in Vermont this year has been reported-- this time in a cave in Dorset. Wildlife experts don't know what causes the syndrome or how it is spread.
