Seth Leavitt anchors weekend sports on the Channel 3 News on WCAX-TV.
Seth joined the Channel Three Sports team in September of 2007. Prior to making the move to Vermont he was a Sports Anchor at WKAG-TV in Hopkinsville , Kentucky .
Although working in Kentucky was a great learning experience, Seth is excited to be back in home New England . He is from Marblehead, Massachusetts and attended Boston University, graduating with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. While at BU Seth had a front row seat for David Hehn's miraculous buzzer beater to send the Catamounts to the NCAA tournament.
While in college Seth worked security for the Boston Red Sox. That is where he developed a close relationship with Nomar Garciaparra (he spilled coffee on Seth in the dugout). He also worked at 1510 AM The Zone and New England Cable News prior to getting his first on-air job in Kentucky.
When not covering sports Seth tries to play basketball and golf, but he'd prefer to watch Mike McCune deliver the highlights on Channel Three.
