Three people were injured Monday morning when an ambulance crashed.
It happened on Route 9 in Woodford. Police say a Deerfield Valley Ambulance was enroute to Southern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington with a patient, when it went off the road and hit a telephone pole. The patient and a crew member suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the ambulance, Jonathan Abel, suffered more serious injuries, but the extent of those injuries is not known.
