A Northeast Kingdom murder suspect has picked up a new charge in prison.
Christopher Chase, 28, of Guildhall, is being held without bail at the state prison in St. Johnsbury for the shooting death of his girlfriend Sara Bragdon.
Now Chase is charged with aggravated assault. Police say while in the prison yard, Chase attacked his cellmate Dan Rolfe, breaking several bones in Rolfe's face.
