Police in Vergennes have arrested a suspect in connection with a stabbing in that city last weekend, but just released information on it Wednesday.
The victim, who was not named, was stabbed after an argument in a local bar.
The Vergennes police arrested Chad Cushman, 37, of Ferrisburgh, and charged him with attempted murder and aggravated assault. He was arraigned Monday and is in jail for lack of bail.
