BURLINGTON, VT - The top two seeds are advancing to the Division 1 boys hockey championship game. #1 Essex defeated Fourth-seed BFA- St. Albans 2-1 on Wednesday night in semi-final action. 2-Seed CVU knocked off #6 Spaulding 3-2.

In boys basketball, #2 Vergennes topped #6 Montpelier 64-58 to advance to the Division 2 title game. In Division 4, #2 Websterville beat #3 Sharon 44-29.
