
Burlington, Vermont - March 3, 2009
Several cities will elect Mayors today.
Burlington voters will have five choices; incumbent Progressive Bob Kiss, Republican Kurt Wright, Democrat Andy Montroll, Independent Dan Smith and Green Party candidate James Simpson.
In Rutland, David Trapeni will run against incumbent Christopher Louras.
In Winooski, Deputy Mayor Katherine Picard is running against incumbent Mike O'Brien.
And in Newport, Timothy Delabruere and Paul Monette are battling to replace Ellwood Guyette who is not running for re-election.
In Vergennes, current Mayor Michael Daniels is running unopposed.
