Bus Driver Accused of Using Bus to Discipline

Brattleboro, Vermont - April 7, 2009

A Brattleboro bus driver is accused of driving erratically as a way to discipline elementary students on her bus.

Police say Lili Guillet, 38, would slam on the brakes when the children misbehaved-- causing kids to hit their heads on the seats in front of them.

No serious injuries were reported.

The children attend Academy and Oak Grove Schools in Brattleboro.

Guillet is charged with careless and negligent operation. She is a driver for First Student. The company's policy is for drivers to pull over and stop until unruly kids behave. There is no word if she has been disciplined.
