Hundreds Bid Farewell to Manor

Ellenburg Center, New York - May 15, 2007

Hundreds of people packed St. Edmond's Church this morning to say goodbye to Darcy Manor.  The church was filled, so some stood outside in the rain.

Kerri Gonyo, a friend of the family, said the community has been jolted by the murder of Manor, a popular member of the community.

"So I was just thinking about the day they got married and how happy everything was at that point and the the birth of the babies and how wonderful that time was.   It's just a really, really sad time now."

Manor leaves behind a wife and two small children -- ages one and four. Darcy Manor's casket was carried to a nearby mausoleum by a horse drawn wagon he originally built to give kids in his neighborhood a ride.
