Mooers, New York - May 18, 2007
The prime suspect in the murder of Darcy Manor has officially been charged.
26-year-old Glenn Race of Nova Scotia is charged with second-degree murder for allegedly shooting Manor to death last week at a summer camp in Mooers. Police believe he killed Manor, because he needed a new getaway vehicle after murdering two people in Canada.
No charges have been filed in any of those cases yet.
Race remains behind bars in Texas where he was arrested earlier this week. No word when Race will be returned to New York.
Police in Canada say they will allow Race to be prosecuted in the United States first.
