Dressed in period costume and accompanied by pianist Arthur Zorn, Linda Radtke performs and comments on music Vermonters published and sang during the Civil War era. The program includes soldiers’ sentimental ballads about the girl back home, and satirical and patriotic pieces from the Historical Society’s sheet music collection. Admission is free.
