“Climate Change: Gardening in Rutland”

The Rutland Garden Clubs Annual Public Meeting welcomes Dr. Alan Betts, Atmospheric Researcher, to discuss “Climate Change: Gardening in Rutland”. Dr. Betts will discuss how global climate change is affecting Vermont and Rutland County; and especially what we can grow and overwinter? How can we develop a community approach to building a sustainable, resilient society faced with rapid climate change? How can we work with the changing natural world?

The public is welcome to attend October 10, 2017 at1pm in the Leahy Center, RRMC, 160 Allen Street, Rutland.

The Rutland Garden Club is a non-profit 501c3 corporation that provides education, discussion and advice on horticulture, flower design, conservation and environmental concerns.
