Bob Davis is a senior news photographer here at WCAX.
He has been covering news stories for the station for over 25 years. He has documented everything from Presidential campaigns to yes, rescuing cats from trees. Over that time Bob has been honored for his photojournalism with awards from the National Press Photographers Association, the Associated Press, has received numerous Edward R. Morrow awards, a Peabody and a Dupont award. Bob has collaborated on three WCAX story projects that have been nominated for regional Emmy Awards. Most recently Bob and reporter Darren Perron were nominated for their series on transgender Vermonters. The series, "Becoming" was the only non-network story recognized for excellence by the national GLAAD organization. Bob has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont and is an adjunct instructor in the Journalism and Communications Department at Saint Michael's College. Bob lives in Burlington with his wife and daughter.

My job is to bring these people to our viewers, to be the eyes and ears for many."
