MONTPELIER, Vt. As ski season is kicking off Ski Vermont is looking for a new president.
The association announced last month that Vt. Ski Areas Association leader, Parker Riehle was stepping down.
Riehle had recently taken a job leading the National Ski Areas Association, but turned that down to stay in Vermont.
The Ski association says they are open to change, but nothing will happen till they find their next president.
“We're certainly looking to make improvements out where we can and use this time to maybe redirect, but it'll be up in the air until we decide who our new president will be,” said Chloe Elliott of Ski Vermont
Riehle was with the Ski Association for nearly 20 years, 11 as their president.
