Body of missing hiker found on Adirondack trail

INDIAN LAKE, N.Y. (WCAX) New York State Police are investigating the death of a Connecticut man on an Adirondack hike.

Authorities say 67-year-old Thomas Ullman of New Haven left for a hike Friday morning from his seasonal home in Olmstedville. Family members reported him missing that afternoon. Forest Rangers found his body later that night on the OK Slip Falls Trail off State Route 28 in Indian Lake.

The cause of death was not available. Police say the results of an autopsy are pending.
