MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) Montpelier kids had fun Sunday at their school's fall festival.

There was a 5K, a fun run, moon bounces, carnival games, and pumpkin painting. The district had about 300 people show up for the fundraising event. The money goes to the parents group which funds school activities and field trips.

"Our biggest attraction this year is the dunk tank. We have an amazing lineup with our school principals, which attracts lots of the students to dunk their favorite principal," said event organizer Adrienne Gil.

Organizers say the event raised more than 5 thousand dollars. The fall festival is the group's largest fundraiser of the year.
