SHELBURNE, Vt. (WCAX) More than one hundred community members came to the annual Lake Champlain Waldorf School Holiday Fair Friday night.
Families checked out trinkets and treats from 50 local vendors. Musicians filled the air with festive tunes.
The artisan market tradition has been going in Shelburne for more than 30 years.
Many parents scooped up gifts for the holidays.
"You have high school students who have set up tables and the parents get to come and be with other parents and shop for Christmas presents, so it's a pretty festive night for the parent community," said Greg Veltkamp, a Lake Champlain Waldorf School parent.
The fun continues Saturday at 10 a.m. Kids can enjoy games, candle dipping, crafts, and performances.
