LEBANON, N.H. (AP) Freezing temperatures have delayed school openings in New Hampshire and closed one after pipes burst inside a high school science wing.

The Valley News reports cleanup from the pipes at Lebanon High School was expected to last all of Tuesday. School district business administrator Tim Ball said after-school activities and sporting events were scheduled as usual.

A number of superintendents decided to delay school for a couple of hours Tuesday morning to keep children out of the bitter cold. Others warned that some buses weren't running on schedule.
