Georgia man charged with attacking troopers during traffic stop

GEORGIA. Vt. (WCAX) A Georgia man faces charges for allegedly attacking state troopers during a traffic stop Monday night.

Police say 36-year-old Bradly Therrien was clocked going 97 mph on I-89 near Exit 18. When he was told to get out of the car, police say he refused. When he eventually did get out, officers say Therrien threw punches and tried strangling troopers.

He faces a slew of charges including aggravated assault on police.
