CALAIS, Vt. (WCAX) A Lyndonville man is behind bars after allegedly breaking into homes in Calais and threatening to fire off a gun.
Police say Dacota Carrier will be in court Wednesday on several charges including burglary and resisting arrest. They say the 26-year old broke into a family member's home on Camp Road in Calais. They say he stole a shotgun and shells and then broke into another home where he threatened to shoot anyone who came inside.
Troopers say they ended up chasing Carrier after he resisted arrest.
