BURLINGTON, Vt. Now you can find out about Vermont beer festivals and events on the go.
The Vermont Brewers Association recently released a brand new mobile app. People will be able to drive around the state, check into a brewery, rate the beers that they're tasting and get their electronic passport stamped. They can email that to the brewers association and collect prizes likes hats and t-shirts.
"It's a different community type way to enjoy the Vermont craft beer scene in a way that I haven't seen before," Executive Director of the Vermont Brewers Association, Melissa Corbin said. "I'm really excited about it."
Vermont is the 7th state association to launch this app. It's been successful in Massachusetts and New York. It's available in the App Store and Google Play.
