BARRE, Vt. (WCAX) State prosecutors say DNA found at the murder scene of a Barre woman matches the alleged killer.

Police say 61-year-old Randal Gebo killed his girlfriend Cindy Cook in July and dumped her body in Middlesex.

Thursday prosecutors submitted Gebo's DNA that was apparently at the scene where Cook's body was found.

Gebo's attorney argues the state's submissions so far don't establish her death as a first-degree murder. The defense has 30 days to review the evidence.
