Some areas were saturated with police patrols

BURLINGTON, Vt. Vermont state police are out in force this weekend.

Troopers are conducting saturation patrols across the state looking for aggressive drivers, people on phones, and passengers not wearing seat belts. Dozens of stops have been initiated from St. Albans to Shaftsbury resulting in tickets and warnings.

Police say the high visibility patrols will continue.
