SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) Channel 3 is working with the Red Cross to make it easy for you help Harvey victims. We have links to the American Red Cross on our app and website if you'd like to donate.

And a South Burlington doggy day care is collecting donations for both pets and people impacted by Harvey. Oh my DOG launched their effort Tuesday. The business is planning to pack up everything donated into a U-Haul at the end of the week and deliver it to another pet group in Victoria, Texas.

The owner, Whitney Troy-Vowell, says he's hoping they collect so much he has to rent the largest truck available. "What we're looking for are tangible things -- supplies that would benefit dogs and cats, so that's food, it's crates, it's leashes, it's collars, it's kitten and puppy formula -- all of those basics that help shelters survive," he said.

They're also asking for donations of water and food for pet shelter workers. Donations can be dropped off at Oh My DOG in South Burlington from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Friday.
