Police: Thieves hit Peru laundromat for quarters

PERU, N.Y. (WCAX) Thieves hit a laundromat and made off with $1,500 in quarters.

It happened Saturday morning at Village Laundry in Peru, New York. Police say 39-year-old Hollie Davis of Dannemora, 29-year-old Amanda Rockwell of Plattsburgh and 28-year-old Brandon Marshall of Morrisonville
finished several loads of laundry and then tried to break into vending machines after other customers were gone. They then tried to make off with a bucket containing the quarters.

All the women face grand larceny charges.
