Flooding and ice jams have caused some roads to close

Route 12 - Worcester/Elmore through the Worcester Woods. Water over the road in several locations however the road remains open. Water in this areas is flowing over the ledges and falling onto the roadway.
Route 78 - Swanton to West Swanton. Road closed due to flooding.
Route 128 - Essex in the Browns River area. NOW OPEN
Route 122 - Lyndon at the Intersection of US 5 and VT 114. Closed due to flooding.
Route 313 - Arlington - Earlier flooding but currently back to two lanes. REMAINS OPEN
Route 2 - Concord - Reduced to one lane just east of Miles Pond due to flooding.
Route 15 - Johnson - Closed between the FD and the Jolly.

Most locations will be changing over to snow, if they haven’t already. That, on top of the rain, freezing rain and sleet that has already fallen.

Temperatures will continue to fall throughout the day with subzero readings by late tonight and early Sunday morning.
