Anderson Repeats in Women's Slopestyle

PYEONGCHANG, South Korea Jamie Anderson became the second Olympian with local ties to medal at the 2018 Winter Games by claiming gold in the women's slopestyle Monday afternoon in PyeongChang.

Anderson is from South Lake Tahoe, California, but her mother Lauren Anderson lives in Hartland, Vermont.

Anderson follows Saranac Lake's Chris Mazdzer as a medalist. Mazdzer became the first American man to ever medal in single's luge Sunday evening.
