Patella to forego redshirt, suit up for Cats at Harvard

Monday, January 1st

A new Cat will be on the court Tuesday night when the 8-5 UVM men's basketball team takes on Harvard in Cambridge. Head coach John Becker confirmed to Channel Three Sports tonight that Bailey Patella will forego his redshirt season and play against the Crimson and the rest of this season. Patella is a 6-5 forward from Lenox, Massachusetts who played at Vermont Academy in Rockingham.

The move to have Patella suit up comes after star sophomore forward Anthony Lamb suffered a foot injury in practice last Thursday that has him out indefinitely. The Cats were already considering having Patella join the roster after fellow freshman Skyler Nash suffered a season ending knee injury in practice early last month.
