Burlington, Vermont - July 6, 2009
The Queen City is packed with people this week, celebrating the Lake Champlain Quadricentennial. This week, a lunchtime series takes a look, not at the past, but at the future of our state and what Vermont will look like 100 years from now at the next celebration.
Forums on the Future kick off today at noon and run through Saturday at Contois Auditorium at Burlington City Hall. The free hour-and-a-half long sessions are hosted by Fran Stoddard of Vermont Public Television. Just bring a brown bag lunch and share your thoughts on what changes you see coming to the state, and hear what's in store for the Green Mountain State.
