A young man from northern New York has pleaded guilty to charges he killed his friend in a car crash.
Andrew Bodah, 20, of West Chazy, pleaded guilty to negligent homicide Friday. Back in January, police say Bodah was speeding on Stetson Road in Chazy. His car slammed into an embankment and rolled several times. Victor Pier, 20, of Morrisonville, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the wreckage. He died at the scene.
As part of the plea deal, Bodah will be placed on probation, perform community service and may have to pay restitution to the victim's family.
