MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - A commission tasked with finding $1 million in cuts to the Vermont judiciary has completed a draft report of recommendations.
The panel will release the report to the Legislature and take public comment on Friday at the Statehouse.
The recommendations include increasing the use of new technologies to allow for electronic filings and video conferencing and integrating state and county courts into one system.
The draft report is available on the Vermont Judiciary web site.
The meeting will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Room 11 of the Statehouse.
