Police arrested a Keene Valley, N.Y., man for raping a child.
New York State Police say Kyle Kernan-Dudley, 18, went into Keene Valley Central School through an unlocked window on two nights last week. Investigators say when he got inside, Kernan-Dudley had sexual contact with a girl under 13.
Kernan-Dudley was arrested Wednesday. He's charged with rape, burglary, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
Kernan-Dudley was arraigned before Town of North Elba Justice Dean Dietrich and released after posting $2,000 bail. He's due in court again on Monday in the Town of Keene.
