Two snowmobile crashes in Pittsburg

Pittsburg, New Hampshire - February 14, 2010

A combination of icy trails and a shortage of snow are making for treacherous snowmobiling conditions.

New Hampshire Fish and Game officers responded to two accidents Saturday, both in the Pittsburg area.

In the first, a Massachusetts woman was hospitalized after loosing control on an icy corner and colliding with another snowmobile.

In the second, a Pennsylvania woman lost control and was thrown from her machine.

Neither of the women suffered life threatening injuries.
