BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont man convicted of molesting a sleeping 13-year-old girl has pleaded not guilty to new child pornography charges.
When 51-year-old Robert Kolibas, of Williston, first appeared in court on Wednesday to answer the new charges he invoked his right to wait 24 hours before entering a plea.
When he appeared in court Thursday he pleaded not guilty.
Kolibas is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography. Both charges are misdemeanors, which each carries a maximum sentence of 2 years in jail.
Last month Kolibas was convicted of charges he drugged and then assaulted a 13-year-old girl staying at his house. He's being held pending sentencing on the earlier convictions. He could be sentenced to 25 years.
