A New York man died this weekend after diving off a 60-foot cliff.
It happened Sunday near Putnam Pond State Campground in Ticonderoga, N.Y.
Police say the 32-year-old Albany man had been swimming with friends in an area commonly called 'the quarry.'
The area is unmarked but people are known to dive from the cliffs surrounding the water.
The man's body was found was 28 feet below the water's surface. His identity has not been released.
