Wells, Vermont - October 20, 2010
A Vermont Electric Power Company truck rolled down a mountain in Wells.
The VELCO truck was at the top of the North East Mountain to do test drillings for a statewide radio program. The four-ton truck was a short distance from the top when it started rolling back downhill.
The property owner captured it all on tape-- he was taping the activity because there is a lawsuit pending over the company's easement on the land.
Witnesses said the machine flipped and two people fell out. A VELCO spokesman said one person was taken to the hospital.
VELCO says that the road is no steeper than other roads they work on across the state.
