Windy Weather Leads to Power Outage

Morrisville, Vermont - April 24, 2004

Saturday's high winds caused power problems in Central Vermont.

At about two o'clock, winds brought down tree limbs which caused two major transmission lines to go down in the Morrisville area. There were scattered outages. Over 1,000 homes lost power.

As of midnight Saturday, all of the homes were back online, aside from one home in Montpelier.
