The slow-moving low pressure system which has been plaguing us with unsettled weather has once again brought some scattered showers and thunderstorms around the North Country today.
Fireworks that are scheduled for tonight may be hampered by a few scattered showers, especially in our northern-most areas.
We should see improvements as we go through the rest of the holiday weekend. That low pressure system will finally drift away from the northeast on Saturday. Skies will begin clearing during the afternoon.
Sunday is shaping up to be a fine, summer day!
