Second Suspect Arrested in "Good Samaritan" Armed Robbery
Colchester, Vermont - July 23, 2009
Three good Samaritans didn't let one person get away with robbing a Colchester convenience store Monday night, and now Colchester Police and Vermont State Police say they've nabbed another person in connection with the crime.
Police say 27-year-old Joseph Brown entered the Bayside Triple M Store on Heineberg drive on Monday, pulled a knife, demanded cash and then fled on foot. The store clerk and three witnesses chased him down and held him until police arrived.
Now police have arrested 34-year-old Stephanie Courcey, of Richmond. She'll be arraigned today on accessory to armed robbery charges. Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges may be pending.
