Dennis Tribble
Hyde Park, Vermont - January 15, 2010
The state of Vermont may finally be finished with its troubles with Dennis Tribble.
Friday morning, the twice-convicted murderer from North Wolcott was sentenced to 35 years to life in prison.
Tribble was convicted last year of second-degree murder for shooting his neighbor Mike Borello in 2000. That was the second time a jury found him guilty. But his first conviction was thrown out because Tribble boycotted the trial and Supreme Court ruled he had not mounted an adequate defense.
