The family of a Franconia, New Hampshire man killed in a double shooting involving the police is taking legal action.
The bizarre incident was captured on a police video three years ago this month. Franconia Police Corporal Bruce McKay was shot and killed by Liko Kenney during a traffic stop. A passerby, Greg Floyd, then fatally shot Kenney.
Kenney's father has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Floyd, the police, and others -- saying that his son was detained without cause, and that officer McKay's conduct was the subject of numerous community complaints. It also claims Floyd was not justified in shooting his son as the Attorney General later ruled.
