Gina Bullard anchors The :30 and is the business reporter. She joined the Channel 3 News in July 2010. In addition to spending time in businesses across the region, Gina also does the popular WCAX News segment Made in Vermont. Each week she loves finding a different company or person to profile with a unique product.
In 2012, Gina won an Edward R. Murrow award for Best Investigative Reporting. Her stories revealed homeless encampments hidden in plain sight in the Burlington area.
In 2013, Gina won an Edward R. Murrow award for Best Feature Reporting with her story about Burlington's Dance Walker, Donna Marie Paquette. She had a brain tumor removed. Her memory was erased and she has trouble walking. So, she dances everywhere.
Gina grew up in Northeast Connecticut in "farm land" as she likes to call it, which is why she says Vermont is an easy adjustment!
Before moving here, Gina often visited Vermont and knew someday she would call the Green Mountains home.
Gina is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University where she earned a degree in Communications and Political Science. She interned at WFSB in Hartford, Conn.
Gina spends her spare time skiing, volunteering in the community, cooking and exploring. She'd love to hear your story ideas, see your photos or just say hello.
