St. Albans woman jailed for helping son deal drugs

St. Albans, Vermont - October 28, 2010

A St. Albans woman is headed to jail for helping her son deal drugs.

Fifty-seven-year-old Denise Chadwick gave her son, 21-year-old James Charron, OxyContin pills last December that he then allegedly sold to a police informant.

Charron is serving five-to-ten years in prison. Prosecutors say Chadwick will likely spend only a few weeks behind bars.
