A South Burlington armed robbery suspect with an extensive criminal record is back behind bars.
Fifty-five-year-old Kevin Beaupre allegedly broke into a home on Pheasant Way Wednesday night. The resident says he heard a noise in his garage and when he went to check a masked man was there. Beaupre reportedly pointed a gun at the resident and demanded money. He then took cash and threatened to shoot the resident if he followed.
Police arrested Beaupre about 15 minutes later. He's charged with burglary and armed robbery and is being held for lack of bail.
