Patient sues Rutland dentist for pulling 22 teeth in 1 hour

Rutland, Vermont - January 28, 2011

An embattled Rutland dentist is in more trouble with the law.

Peter Gray is being sued by a patient who says he had 22 teeth pulled in the course of an hour last summer. Ronald Richie is seeking a minimum of $250,000, claiming he still suffers from physical and mental pain to his jaw and lip.

Gray is also facing nearly two dozen unrelated counts of Medicaid fraud for allegedly filing claims for services he never provided.
