Humane societies across our region are overrun with cats in need of loving homes.
Vaunne Alden of North Country Animal League says the Morrisville shelter is at full capacity for cats, and their waiting list keeps growing by the day. Alden says spaying or neutering a cat is something that can help prevent this problem, but unfortunately it's not something many cat owners choose to do. It's shocking how many new cats can come from a single unspayed female and non-neutered male.
Watch the video to learn more about the current cat situation and meet some adorable felines looking for forever homes.
